[Personality]
Kotetsu is the definition of adorkable. A complete dork with a loveable personality. Kotetsu is all about justice and being a true hero. He cares about saving people and doing whatever it takes to do it (even if that means destroying a few buildings in the process). He can also be incredibly stubborn and set in his ways. As a veteran hero he has a little trouble adjusting to changes in his routine (new partner, new suit, new bike) especially when the ideals of his partner seam to clash with his own. Even though the heroes compete for points, Kotetsu is all about the fundamentals of being a hero. Save the people, Save the Day, Stop Crime no matter what. Unfortunately things don't always seem to go his way and the younger heroes tend to steal the limelight. Kotetsu's morals and ideals and heart might be in the right place but he isn't terribly lucky when it comes to getting things done the way he envisions them. Many times the criminals ask for someone else to arrest them just so they don't have to deal with Kotetsu.
Kotetsu always puts 110% into everything he does, whether it is fighting crime or throwing a surprise party for his partner. He is dedicated and hardworking in that respect. He's also a great friend who will look out for everyone he cares about and protect them no matter the costs. Generally a happy individual, who enjoys poking fun at his partner, looking out for the younger heroes, and relaxing at the bar with his best friend.
When Kotetsu was a small boy, he was in a bank as it was being held up. In swooped Mr. Legend, the top superhero of the time, to try and stop the robbery. In the process, Kotetsu became a hostage but he panicked and awakened his powers. Originally afraid of his ability, he told Mr. Legend not to touch him because he didn't want to hurt anyone. But Mr. Legend told Kotetsu that his powers meant he was to save people. This encounter with the hero, had an incredible impact on Kotetsu and influenced him into becoming a hero that fights for justice more then points.
Kotetsu became a part of HeroTV and their group of heroes around the time that his wife became sick and was in the hospital. She encouraged him to become a great hero and was even the one that gave Kotetsu the name, "Wild Tiger". HeroTV broadcasts the chase and capture of thieves and murderers around Sternbild. Wild Tiger showed no regard for points or ratings, unlike the other heroes, and would stop at nothing to save the day. This earned him the nickname of "Crusher of Justice" because even the destruction of buildings didn't stop him from a goal (resulting in him receiving many damage fines that his sponsors had to pay). All the heroes on HeroTV have sponsors that back the heroes and their endeavors. However, Wild Tiger's gets bought out and he is transferred to a new company where he is forced to become HeroTV's first hero duo...something the old hero was not originally happy to take part in since he was rather stubborn and set in his ways.
His partner, Barnaby Brooks Jr., is everything Kotetsu is not. He doesn't hide his true identity, he seems focused on points and he is very by the book. They bash heads quite a bit in their efforts to do things their own ways. Slowly the two reach an understanding as they learn more about each other and become a star team with Kotetsu climbing from the bottom of the ranks back up to the top of the hero chart and Barnaby being at the top.
[Abilities]
Kotetsu's Hundred Power increases his physical capabilities such as strength, speed, and jumping ability, by a hundredfold for five minutes at a time. After those five minutes, he must rest for one hour before activating it again. Kotetsu's attacking forte is in punching (contrary to Barnaby's which is kicking). When they combine their attacks it activates the "Good Luck Mode" in their suits. The mode doesn't really enhance their ability any, it just makes them look cooler on HeroTV.
With his Hundred Power activated, he is able to punch through walls. He can withstand a bullet wound to the chest at point-blank range with only minimal injury. His signature attack is the "Wild Roar", which pushes back an opponent with a burst of energy. He also has a grapling style rope called the "wild shoot" which he uses to swing from buildings or make for a quick escape.

Oi..Bunny? [The device is apparently on the ground and the screen is turned up to show a odd looking robot like suit. He looks around at the surroundings that have appeared around him. Brings both hands to his mouth and yells through them] OOOIIIII...BUNNY-CHAN! WHERE ARE YOU?
[He receives no answer but then notices the device and kneels down to stare at the screen.] What the hell is this? Maybe I hit my head when I fell from that building. [knocks the side of his helmet] Hey, wake up! Now is not the time to be sleeping! Bunny will hit you for sleeping on the job.
[He tries to pinch himself through the metal suit but gives up and picks up the little device] Anybody home? [flips open the helmet and smiles] Nothing to be afraid of. Wild Tiger is here to help you if you need it...Though I'm really the one in need of help right now..
[Third Person]
"I'm sorry about the building but our company will.." Kotetsu was cut off by some angry shouting. He scratched the side of his helmet with his finger as he stared at the little man in front of him. The hero suit was dirty but beyond that it didn't have a scratch or dent on it. That was more then Kotetsu could say for the building he was standing next to. He had been chasing a suspect and when the man had bolted inside of the building..well Kotetsu hadn't been able to stop the rather fast pace he was moving at and had skidded right through the large glass doors. He had apprehended the suspect though, and that was what mattered! ...right?
Wrong. Now he had some explaining to do and it was clear that the owner of the building was not pleased with the damages. Kotetsu wasn't very good with smoothing things over with angry employers so all he could do was accept the angry shouting of the man for now. Without even waiting for a response the man stormed off, saying something about contacting Kotetsu's company. Breathing a sigh in relief that that was over, he lifted the mask of his helmet and put his hands on his hips as he walked back towards his home. There was a rather disgruntled pout on his lips.
"Tck. Why can't people be happy that I at least caught the guy? It's better then letting a criminal get away. Justice first! Buildings can be fixed after all. No building will get in my way when I'm after a suspect! If something gets damaged..its a small price to pay for catching the bad guy. Why doesn't anyone ever understand that? Heroes don't care about damage fines!" Well this hero probably should since he ends up getting hit with enough of them..
Kotetsu stopped as a young boy ran up to him and his expression brightening, flashing one of the biggest smiles that he could. This must be one of his adoring fans!
"Hello young fan! Have you come for the great Wild Tiger's autograph?" Kotetsu always loved getting showered with affection from his fans..granted there wasn't very many of them..but they did exist!
"Mister! You're Barnaby's partner right?" The boy was clearly excited but the question merely made the corner of Kotetsu's mouth twitch. He was wrong..once again it was one of Barnaby's adoring fans. He knelt down in front of the boy and tried not to look too disappointed.
"We are a team. The amazing crime fighting duo!" Kotetsu wondered how they could be a team and yet Barnaby still got all the fans. It must be all that crazy charisma that seemed to ooze out of his partner when he was in front of the cameras.
"That's so cool! Barnaby is really the best! You're lucky to be his partner, ojii-san!" The kid turned and started to run back in the direction he came from.
"Yeah..really lucky." Kotetsu's eye twitched his time, "I'm not that old and I'm cool too! Tck.." Kotetsu slammed the mask back down over his face to hide his disappointment. He stood back up and stomped towards the hauler for the suits. There had to be someone in this world that thought he was cooler then his partner..he just wondered where they were.
